Board member certification
Florida requires new condo and HOA directors to complete an approved course, on different timelines and different curricula. Free, and your certificate lands on your Common Elements profile.
Continuing education for CAMs
Licensed managers renew every two years. The full 20-hour catalog (standard plus HOA-specific) tracks your hours against the actual requirement, by category, with reminders tied to the real renewal clock.
Pre-licensure and exam prep
A real 16-hour pre-licensure course and a full practice-exam bank for CAM license candidates, both grounded in the same statute reference that powers the platform.
What Florida requires
The short version of the education rules, with the statute behind each one. The Academy exists to make meeting them the easy part.
Directors also owe annual continuing education: 1 hour of legal update for condo boards, 4 or 8 hours for HOA boards depending on community size.

New CAM candidates: a 16-hour pre-licensure course within 12 months before the state exam.

Licensed CAMs: 15 hours of continuing education per two-year cycle, 20 for managers serving HOAs. Licenses expire September 30 of even years.
